Drink Port on the Douro in Portugal
Porto is a coastal city in the northwest of Portugal and is known for its stately bridges and port wine production. It’s a welcome alternative the thronging Algarve and it even has it’s own beautiful stretches of sandy beach. Porto’s signature narrow cobbled streets and artisan shops are now patch worked with a new style which brings a very cool new vibe to the city.
Porto is a city of contrasts between old and new, the little wool shop and the trendy café, the old curiosity shop and the design shop, they all weave together down the steep hill to the spectacular River Douro.
