If there’s one thing we Portuguese can be proud of, it’s that we have a country worth traveling and exploring.

Sometimes we need to hear it from outsiders to be reminded once again of how marvelous and culturally diverse our country is.

Wine tourism is an expression of this diversity and how good it feels to run around the country in search of new sensations, aromas and flavors. Because a wine tourist is not just a wine consumer, but an enthusiast about the production and culture associated with wine itself.

It is for those who share this passion that we have opened the doors of our quinta to wine tourism. In fact, living in Raza is too great a privilege not to be shared.

It’s easy to understand why. It is a farm set in a region of gentle, bright slopes, surrounded by mountains and crossed by the Tâmega river. The fields and vineyards reflect the care with which they are worked, by local people who have known them for so many generations, for so many harvests.

It’s a warmth for the soul to be here and a great pleasure to share all this, our story, the fruit of our labor, with those who visit us.

At Quinta da Raza, we offer a range of wine tourism experiences, including wine tastings, vineyard tours, 4x4 buggy rides, rafting and canyoning on the River Tâmega, hiking on the trails of the Alvão and Marão mountains, and cultural and historical tours.
